Suwanne’s Adrenaline Rock Climbing Gym will be hosting the final bouldering competition of the 2012 Power Series on Friday, December 14th. Be sure to bring your holiday cheer for this holiday extravaganza.
How to Sign-up and Details
This competition is open to anyone willing and able to make it. Registration is open and can be completed online here. Liability wavers can also be filled out online for anyone who has not climbed at Adrenaline gym before. The preregistration is $25 for members of Escalade or Adrenaline and $30 for nonmembers. Add an extra $10 for day of comp registration.

Check-in and preview begins at 6:00PM and the competition hours are 7:00PM to 10:00PM with a finals round after the normal contest hours. Scoring will be Red Point format. So falls deduct points from each climb and a climbers top 6 scores are added together for their overall score. The top 3 climbers in every division will win awards. Plus, free food for all competitors will be offered.
Climbing Categories
- Youth — Climbers up to 12
- Recreational — VB to V2
- Intermediate — V2 to V4
- Advanced — V4 to V6
- Elite — V6 to Vsick
- Masters — Climbers 40+
Hanging volumes are going to be the focus of the feature problems in this comp. Be ready to hang and spread some holiday cheer with all your fellow Atlanta climbers. Mad Rock will host a shoe and crash pad demo during the competition as well. Adrenaline would love to see you out there. Do yourself a favor and show up. Competitions are a great source of motivation and usually help push your skills to that next level. It’s also a great way to get a little more familiar with the community of Atlanta climbers.
