On Saturday March 8th Stone Summit Climbing and Fitness center will be hosting the Rock & Rave from 7pm to 2am. This is a benefit/party for the Southeastern Climbers Coalition, the Carolina Climbers Coalition, Access Fund, and Paradox Sports. Who’s not up for an all night party? There will be a ton of fun events as well as some great special guests.
What is to be Expected at the Rock & Rave?
How about the fun stuff first? There will be a speed climbing contest, super high-ball bouldering, yoga, a velcro wall, and a rave at the end of the night. Special guests include Chris Sharma, Lisa Rands, Tommy Caldwell, Timmy O’Neill, Kai Lightner. After all of that goes down, the rave begins. A DJ, lightshow, and tons of glow sticks will bring you late into the night.
Tickets and Tons of Free Stuff
Tickets for all of this fun are only $25 for pre-sale and $35 at the door. You can buy them Here. “Did you say free stuff?” Oh yes. Once you are in the door, you can do all the climbing you can handle. Free refreshments include: beer, Mellow Mushroom pizza, a dessert buffet, and plenty of red bull. Glowsticks too! On top of that, the Rock & Rave website says there will be $1,000 in cash prizes and tons of swag, raffles, and auctions. That really sounds like a party.
